Ore. State Legislature: Republicans Increase Access to Virtual Public Charter School

SALEM, Oregon, June 23 -- The Oregon State Legislature issued the following news release on June 22, 2023:

Today, Deputy Leader Dick Anderson (R-Lincoln City) carried House Bill 3204 A on the Senate floor, a measure that:

(1) Reduces the amount of time a school district can approve or deny an application for a student to attend a virtual charter school from 14 days to 5 days;

(2) Reduces the amount of time allowed for a parent or guardian to appeal the deci . . .
