LAREDO, Texas, June 23 -- U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas, Alamdar S. Hamdani, issued the following news release:
A 31-year-old man has pleaded guilty to his role in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine and launder money, announced U.S. Attorney Alamdar S. Hamdani.
Elizardo Vasquez Jr. admitted to being the courier of cocaine and drug proceeds.
Vasquez is the fifth co-conspirator to be convicted in this trafficking ring. He joins Cesar Mendi . . .
