University of Hawaii Manoa: $4M Boosts IfA Development of New Sensors for Exoplanet Imaging

MANOA, Hawaii, June 23 (TNSfund) -- The University of Hawaii Manoa campus issued the following news release on June 22, 2023:

A research team led by University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy (IfA) astronomer Michael Bottom has been awarded $4 million from NASA to aid in their exoplanet research. The grant will be used to develop a new generation of ultra-sensitive sensors needed to observe distant planets and their atmospheres.
