BROWNSVILLE, Texas, June 17 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Customs and Border Protection issued the following news release:

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers and agriculture specialists at the Gateway International Bridge intercepted a live spider monkey in a vehicle in a single enforcement action.
