WASHINGTON, June 15 -- Sen. Ted Budd, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
Senator Ted Budd (R-NC) has co-sponsored S. 1271, the Fentanyl Eradication and Narcotics Deterrence (FEND) Off Fentanyl Act.
The bill would strengthen current law by directing the Treasury Department to target, sanction, and block the financial assets of transnational criminal organizations that traffic in deadly drugs like fentanyl.
