HARTFORD, Connecticut, June 14 -- Gov. Ned Lamont, D-Connecticut, issued the following news release on June 13, 2023:

Governor Ned Lamont today signed legislation that enacts a law allowing pharmacists to prescribe certain types of birth control without patients first needing to visit their doctor.
