OLYMPIA, Washington, June 10 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Northwest Regional Field Office issued the following news release:
Based on June 1, 2023 conditions, Idaho winter wheat production is forecast at 60.9 million bushels, down 5 percent from last year. Harvested area, at 700,000 acres, is down 10,000 acres from 2022. Yield is expected to average 87.0 bushels per acre, unchanged from the May 1 forecast but down 3.0 bushels fro . . .
