WASHINGTON, June 8 -- Rep. Carol Miller, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release on June 7, 2023:
Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) and Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo (D-CO) introduced the Truth in Buffalo Labeling Act. This bipartisan legislation will give the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authority to ensure that products that use water buffalo are marketed as "water buffalo" so that consumers aren't misled to believe the product contains bison. . . .
