WASHINGTON, June 7 -- Rep. Bob Good, R-Virginia, issued the following news release on June 6, 2023:
Today, Congressman Bob Good's (VA-05) Self-Insurance Protection Act passed the Education and Workforce Committee by a vote of 24 to 18. The legislation can now move to the House floor.
The Self-Insurance Protection Act will prevent federal regulators from redefining stop-loss insurance and over-regulating it to the point that it is inaccessible.
