U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.), a member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, tonight voted against H.R. 3746, the legislation that would suspend the country's debt ceiling through January 1, 2025.
The debt ceiling sets the amount of money that the U.S. Department of the Treasury is legally allowed to borrow to pay the country's financial obligations. . . .
