WASHINGTON, June 2 -- Sen. Mazie K. Hirono, D-Hawaii, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator Mazie K. Hirono (D-HI) introduced the Stop Mental Health Stigma in Our Communities Act to curb mental health stigma in Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities. This introduction marks the first time that the legislation was introduced in both the House and Senate. Companion legislation was introduced in the House by Representatives Judy Chu (D-CA) . . .
