On Thursday, the Legislature's Joint Standing Committee on Labor and Housing voted in favor a bill from Sen. Mattie Daughtry, D-Brunswick, and Rep. Kristen Cloutier, D-Lewiston, that would create a statewide paid family and medical leave program.
