WASHINGTON, June 1 -- Rep. Dwight Evans, D-Pennsylvania, issued the following news release:
Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-3rd) announced he will vote yes on a bipartisan budget agreement to prevent a U.S. default and an economic crash that would have resulted from default.
"Ultimately my vote is for preventing a 2008-like economic crash and recession - and protecting the vast majority of the progress we made in the first two years of the Biden-Harris administratio . . .
