ATLANTA, Georgia, May 27 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, Ryan K. Buchanan, issued the following news release:
James G. Maloney, who served as the Chief Scientist for the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI), has pleaded guilty to conspiring to defraud Georgia Tech and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Maloney's conspirators, James J. Acree and James D. Fraley, III, pleaded guilty to the same charge in 2016.
