BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, May 27 (TNSjou) -- The University of Alabama issued the following news:

Female recipients of a left ventricular assist device tend to have worse clinical outcomes compared to their male counterparts, according to a study in Circulation: Heart Failure from researchers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine.
