WASHINGTON, May 26 (TNScapv) -- Rep. Bob Good, R-Virginia, issued the following news release:
Congressman Bob Good (R-Va.) introduced the Desmond T. Doss Memorial Clinic Bill, which would rename the Lynchburg VA Clinic after Private First Class Doss for his brave service in World War II.
PFC Doss was a conscientious objector who served as an Army medic during World War II and earned a Medal of Honor for his rescue of an estimated 75 men during the battle at Hacksaw Ridg . . .
