Tarleton State University has named Dr. Alex del Carmen the 2023 McKenzie Family Endowed Professor. Candidates exemplify the highest levels of academic productivity and impact, with recognition at national and international levels.

Associate Dean of the College of Liberal and Fine Arts, Dr. del Carmen leads the School of Criminology, Criminal Justice and Public Administration.
