SALEM, Oregon, May 25 -- The Oregon State Legislature issued the following news release:
To avoid the Senate President's threatened government shutdown, Senate Republicans and Independents reaffirm that they will return in the morning of June 25th to pass lawful, substantially bipartisan budgets and bills.
Senate Republican Leader Tim Knopp (R-Bend) released the following statement:
"Democrat leadership including President Wagner are threatening to shu . . .
