U.S. Representative Emilia Strong Sykes (OH-13) issued the following statement on the recent death of Tom Sawyer.
"I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Tom Sawyer, and my sincere and deepest sympathy goes out to his wife Joyce, daughter Amanda, and all who knew and loved him," said Rep. Sykes. "Tom was a giant in Akron and Summit County, serving our commun . . .
