WASHINGTON, May 19 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency issued the following news release on May 18, 2023:
The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) announced today that U.S. Army Air Forces Staff Sgt. Robert C. Elliott, 24, of Plains, Kansas, killed during World War II, was accounted for Feb. 8, 2023.
