WASHINGTON, May 19 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded a $300,000 grant to The Ohio State University to form a center to research wide bandgap (WBG) semiconductors and develop a workforce development program to meet industry needs.
