RICHMOND, Virginia, May 16 -- The Virginia Democratic Party issued the following news release on May 15, 2023:
This afternoon, Congressman Gerry Connolly announced that a man wielding a baseball bat and looking for Rep. Connolly attacked two of his staffers in his District Office. The staffers were transferred to the hospital.
