BOSTON, Massachusetts, May 12 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts, Rachael S. Rollins, issued the following news release on May 11, 2023:

A New Bedford man pleaded guilty today to his role in a drug trafficking organization (DTO) operating in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Jason Cruz, 42, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl. U.S. District Court Judge Allison D. Burroughs scheduled . . .
