WASHINGTON, May 12 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) joined U.S. Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Jon Ossoff (D-GA) in reintroducing the Homes for Every Local Protector Educator and Responder (HELPER) Act to create a first-time homebuyer loan program administered by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) for teachers and first responders who have served at least four years in their respective role.
