WASHINGTON, May 12 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Joe Manchin, member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, announced $673,865 from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for two research projects at West Virginia University (WVU). The funding will support critical research into transportation infrastructure resilience against natural disasters and the role of waste treatment systems in global sanitation initiatives.
