WASHINGTON, May 11 -- Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tennessee, issued the following news release:
During the markup of a Congressional resolution recognizing National Police Week, Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9), a senior member of the Judiciary Committee, remembered the heroism of Memphis Police Officer Geoffrey Redd, killed in the line of duty in February. He also commended the bravery of the police officers who confronted a shooter at the Covenant School in Nashville in March.
