SALEM, Oregon, May 3 -- The Oregon State Legislature issued the following news release on May 1, 2023:
Senator Suzanne Weber (R-Tillamook) made a point of order on the Senate floor that HB 2285 fails to meet readability standards laid out in subsection 5 of Senate Rule 13.02, ORS 171.134, and Article IV, Section 21 of the Oregon Constitution. The point of order resulted in a recess until a ruling is made by the Senate President.
