CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, May 2 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina, Dena J. King, issued the following news release on May 1, 2023:
U.S. District Judge Frank D. Whitney sentenced Jamal Saymeh, 59, of Charlotte, N.C., to 12 months and one day in prison followed by two years of supervised release for violating the Clean Air Act, by fraudulently coding over 15,000 vehicles that would have otherwise failed the required State emissions inspection, announced . . .
