WASHINGTON, April 30 -- The Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Subcommittee on Food and Nutrition, Specialty Crops, Organics and Research issued the following written testimony by James Whitford, executive director of Watered Gardens Ministries, involving a hearing on April 19, 2023, entitled "SNAP and Other Nutrition Assistance in the Farm Bill." SNAP is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
