Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton (D-VA) issued the following statement on the Ghaisar family's settlement with the Department of Justice in the civil lawsuit claiming wrongful death of their son, Bijan Ghaisar, at the hands of the U.S. Park Police in 2017:
"The Ghaisar family has faced years of unjust obstacles and stonewalling in their pursuit of answers i . . .
