WASHINGTON, April 26 -- Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tennessee, issued the following news release:

Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) voted against the Limit, Save, Grow Act(H.R. 2811). This extreme budget proposal pushed forward by the current House majority presents Americans with two bad choices: a default on our nation's debt and a devastated economy, or inflicting pain on everyday people with deep cuts to federal programs that are relied on by millions nationwide.
