SALEM, Oregon, April 29 -- The Oregon State Legislature issued the following news release:

House Republican Leader Vikki Breese-Iverson (R-Prineville) and Senate Republican Leader Tim Knopp (R-Bend) penned an op-ed in The Oregonian on House Bill 2002 B which knowingly and forcefully strips away parental rights.
