JACKSONVILLE, Florida, April 22 -- The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity issued the following news:
The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity announced that the Jacksonville area's private sector employment grew 5.4 percent (36,700 jobs) over the year. In March 2023, total nonagricultural employment in the Jacksonville area was 797,500, an increase of 5.1 percent (38,700 jobs) over the year.
The Jacksonville area's unemployment rate was 2.6 perce . . .
