WASHINGTON, April 22 -- Rep. John P. Sarbanes, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on April 21, 2023:
Chesapeake Bay Task Force Chair Rep. John Sarbanes (D-Md.) issued the following statement after the announcement of a proposed settlement in the lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency for its failure to require Pennsylvania to meet the goals set out by the Chesapeake Clean Water Blueprint:
"For years, a major threat to the health and vibrancy . . .
