Senator Schmitt Joins Senator Marshall in Vote of No Confidence Resolution

WASHINGTON, April 22 -- Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Missouri, issued the following news release on April 21, 2023:

Yesterday, Senator Schmitt joined a resolution of no confidence put forward by Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas underscoring Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas' failure to address the crisis at the Southern border:

"The Biden Administration and Secretary Mayorkas have utterly failed to address the humanitarian crisis at our Southern border . . .
