Brown, Vance Push to Designate Youngstown Airport as a Primary Airport

WASHINGTON, April 22 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and J.D. Vance (R-OH) introduced legislation that would designate Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport (YNG) as a primary airport. This designation would allow YNG to access funding from the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP) which provides grants for the planning and development of public-use airports.
