WASHINGTON, April 21 -- Rep. Monica de la Cruz, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz is proud to have co-sponsored H.R. 734, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, which passed the House of Representatives on Thursday, April 20.
The bill includes three components to protect girls' and women's sports:
* Clarifies that a recipient of federal education funding violates Title IX's prohibition again . . .
