ALBANY, New York, April 20 -- Gov. Kathy Hochul, D-New York, issued the following news release:
Governor Kathy Hochul today, during Earth Week, announced the deployment of more than 30 megawatts of solar energy throughout upstate New York. The New York Power Authority designed and implemented solar energy systems at five New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision facilities comprised of more than 75,000 solar panels--enough to power 7,000 homes.
