WASHINGTON, April 19 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced $424,571 from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to help digitize historical documents at the Robert C. Byrd Center for History Education at West Virginia University (WVU) and create a multi-format interpretative tour of the 1921 Coal Mine Wars at the West Virginia Mine Wars Museum.
