WASHINGTON, April 18 -- Rep. Terri Sewell, D-Alabama, issued the following news release on April 17, 2023:

U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell (AL-07) sent a letter to Federal Railroad Administrator Amit Bose regarding the recent increase in train blockages and resulting safety concerns in Alabama's 7th Congressional District. In the letter, Rep. Sewell requested a follow-up meeting with Administrator Bose and emphasized the need for railroad companies to be held accountable.
