ANNAPOLIS, Maryland, April 14 -- The Maryland State Comptroller issued the following news release:
Maryland Comptroller Brooke E. Lierman today announced that effective immediately, she has suspended the processing of electronic tax returns from 13 tax preparers located throughout the region and out of state. Today's action is due to a high volume of questionable returns received from these preparers.
