WASHINGTON, April 12 -- Rep. John P. Sarbanes, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on April 11, 2023:

Congressman John Sarbanes joined Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen and Congressmen Steny H. Hoyer, Dutch Ruppersberger, Kweisi Mfume, Jamie Raskin, David Trone and Glenn Ivey (all D-Md.) announced $18,326,000 in funding to upgrade essential wastewater and stormwater systems to protect public health and waterways.
