WASHINGTON, April 12 -- Rep. Kweisi Mfume, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on April 11, 2023:

U.S. Congressman Kweisi Mfume, Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen and Congressmen Steny H. Hoyer, Dutch Ruppersberger, John Sarbanes, Jamie Raskin, David Trone and Glenn Ivey (all D-Md.) today announced $18,326,000 in funding to upgrade essential wastewater and stormwater systems to protect public health and waterways.
