WASHINGTON, April 7 -- Rep. Jennifer McClellan, D-Virginia, issued the following news release on April 6, 2023:
In case you missed it - Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (VA-04), along with Representatives Sean Casten (IL-06), Earl Blumenauer (OR-03), and Mike Levin (CA-49), introduced the People Over Petroleum Act to deliver Americans a $500 direct cash rebate. The rebates are entirely paid for by eliminating eleven of the most egregious tax subsidies flowing to fossil fuel companie . . .
