WASHINGTON, April 4 -- Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, issued the following news release and letter:
Rep. Chip Roy (TX-21) sent a letter urging the House Appropriations Committee to cease funding DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas' salary for jeopardizing American lives and failing to fulfill his oath to enforce our border security and immigration laws.
Rep. Roy wrote: "Secretary Mayorkas is actively failing to attain and maintain control of the southern border by weake . . .
