WASHINGTON, April 4 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:
Maryland's U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen and Oregon's U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley introduced a resolution reaffirming the important role that the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) plays in the Indo-Pacific region. The resolution comes ahead of a Merkley-led Congressional Delegation to ASEAN member-countries Vietnam and Indonesia, which Senator Van Hollen will join.
