WASHINGTON, April 1 -- Sen. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, issued the following news release on March 31, 2023:

U.S. Senator Brian Schatz (D-Hawai'i) led a group of 23 senators in introducing a resolution to recognize the achievements and courage of the transgender community around the world, and to celebrate International Transgender Day of Visibility.
