WASHINGTON, March 31 -- Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:
U.S. Representative Rashida Tlaib (MI-12), along with Senator Edward Markey (D-Mass.) and Representative Ayanna Pressley (MA-07), reintroduced the Fossil Free Finance Act, legislation that would direct the Federal Reserve to require major banks and other Systemically Important Financial Institutions (SIFIs) to stop financing projects and activities linked to increased greenhouse gas emissions . . .
