Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) released the following statement following H.R. 1, the Lower Energy Costs Act, passing the House of Representatives on a bipartisan vote. Included in H.R. 1 is Congressman Stauber's Permitting for Mining Needs (PERMIT-MN) Act, legislation to modernize the permitting process for mining projects nationwide to secure domestic mineral supply chains.
