GREENFIELD, Tennessee, March 28 (TNSper) -- The Tennessee Military Department issued the following news release:
Col. Michael "Trent" Scates was promoted to the rank of brigadier general during a ceremony held at the First Baptist Church in Greenfield, March 26. Tennessee's Adjutant General, Brig. Gen. Warner Ross, presided over the promotion ceremony.
"Trent is an experienced leader, and I can't think of anyone more deserving of this honor than him," . . .
